Patrician Roller Shades
Our
roller shades are offered in several materials:
solar screening fabrics, decorative fabrics and laminated fabrics. The solar shades are made of PVC-coated fiberglass that prevents harmful
ultra violet (UV) rays from entering your home. Some of the shades filter as much as 95%-99% of the sun’s UV rays. Solar shades also filter
out glare and the lighter colors reflect more heat than the darker colors, making your home more comfortable in hot summer months, and more energy
efficient. The more rays reflected, the more opaque the shade; i.e., visibility through the shades is lessened.
The fabric roller shades are made of decorative drapery materials. Some of them are laminated for durability and ease of cleaning.
The patterns range from modern to formal to whimsical – something for every decorating style.
Roller Shades – Features and Benefits:
- Standard RollEase Continuous Loop Clutch System will have a ¾" light gap on one side and a ½" light gap on the other side.
(When measuring your windows do not make any deductions - use exact measurements. The factory will make the necessary deductions.
- Minimum order amount $50
- Solar and laminated fabrics are easy to maintain and clean, requiring only occasional mild soap and water cleanup.
- Solar fabrics are available in a variety of UV blockage choices, fabric color choices and all are fire retardant.
- The solar screening fabrics allow outward visibility even when closed.
- The decorative roller shade fabrics are great for adding to your rooms décor with patterns ranging from modern to formal to whimsical.
- Our decorative roller shades are especially perfect for Arts & Crafts Homes, Victorian, Cape Cod, Colonial Revival and Bungalow style homes.
- The fabrics that are laminated (Reminiscent are the 3-ply) on both sides can be cleaned with mild soap and water. The other fabrics can be vacuumed but must be cleaned professionally.

Question: What does the "openness factor mean?
Answer: The "openness" of a fabric refers to the mesh or weave structure and determines the amount of heat and light that enters a room.
A more "open" fabric allows more heat and light to penetrate through, while a tighter mesh structure will block more light and heat.

Available Roller Shade Styles
Spring Roller
The Spring Roller is the classic, time-tested,
cordless operating system for roller shades. You
simply grasp the shade by its bottom hem and pull
it down to whatever length you want. A gentle tug
releases the spring’s lock and allows the shade to be gently raised.
Clutch Roller
The Clutch Roller system is operated by an easy
chain control. Pull the front chain to raise the
shade; pull the back chain to lower it; and a
constant tension clutch stops the shade wherever
you want it to stop. The Clutch system is also
known for easier operation on larger sized shades.
Roman Fold Roller Shade
Now the gentle folded beauty of a
Roman Shades is available in most of
the unique fabrics from the Horizons™
Shades of Elegance™ line.
 
Optional: Classic Valance
Made from the same material as the shade, our 6" Classic Valance is the perfect way to simply top off your Shade of Elegance ™. It can be finished straight or embellished with scallops or decorative trimmings!
