FAQs

Q: Do you require a minimum order amount?
A: Yes. We require a minimum order amount of $50 on all of our Shades, Blinds, Shutters, Arches, Treatments and Accessories.

Q: Do your products carry a warranty?
A: Yes. All our products are covered by a limited warranty. (Call for details)

Q: What are your shipping policies?
A: Ace Fast Blinds offers on blinds up to 84" wide to the primary destination within the 48 contiguous states. Blinds with headrails over 84" wide will be subject to an additional freight charge of $85.00 for the first oversized blind per order and $50.00 for each additional oversized blind. Shipments to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii are approximately $50 per blind. This is for ground shipment only and does not include any VAT that may be assessed on shipments to Canada. Other conditions may apply to shipments in Hawaii, Alaska and outside the continental United States - call for details.

Q: How quickly will I receive my blinds?
A: Most blinds have a production time of 5-7 working days. Your order will then be shipped by Fed Ex or UPS Ground. Delivery time depends on where you live in the country -vs- where the manufacturer is located.

Q: What is your rebate policy on the swatch samples that are $2.00 each?
A: The time limit on redeeming the up to $10 sample cost credit on an order is three months and the minimum order amount is $200.00 and over to qualify for the rebate.

Q: What do you do with my private information?
A: Your private information will remain private. We do not share our customer lists with anyone! We do not keep a record of your credit card information - each time you order, you will have to re-enter your data. We do not want to keep an electronic record of any of your personal information, so we don't.
Furthermore our web site shopping cart system is on a lock SECURED SERVER. This means that your personal information will be encrypted. We are committed to your security.

Q: What if I want to return or exchange something?
A: Because colors vary, order sample blind chips to compare with your woodwork or whatever color you are trying to match because dye lots vary slightly. Remember, there may be a slight variation in the color of your product. Since all of our products are custom-made to fit only your windows, they cannot be returned. Neither can your order change once submitted to us, so get your free samples before ordering your blinds.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Because most of our products are manufactured in one day after receiving your order (confirmed by Paypal or Telecheck), and they are custom-made to fit only your windows, they are not returnable except for warranty repair. Because we begin working on your order quickly – often on the same day we receive it, there are no cancellations.

Q: What should I do when the product is delivered by the freight company?
A: You must notify Ace Fast Blinds of any damage incurred during shipping, or of any defective product you have received within 30 days of receipt. Shippers will not warrant against shipping damage unless they are notified within 30 days which means you must notify Ace Fast Blinds prior to that time. Even if you are not going to install your blinds or shades right away, open the box and inspect them for any damage or defect.

  1. While the freight driver is at your home or office, inspect the outside of the boxes for any visible freight damage. (For example, dents in the packaging, visible evidence of someone standing on boxes, or the ends of boxes torn open.) Note this on the driver's freight bill as "possibly concealed damage."
  2. By doing this, you have notified the freight company that there is a potential problem.
  3. Open the boxes for a final inspection. Notify us by emailemail if there is a problem.
  4. We will let you know what course of action you should take that will rectify the problem as fast as possible.

Q: Do you include the hardware?
A: All mounting hardware is included: hold downs, spacer blocks and extension brackets when specified. You may need to purchase screws size #6 x 1-5/8 sheet rock-style screws or #6 x 1" wood screws. Six screws per blind are the average number required. Please note, motorized blinds do not come with batteries. You will need to purchase these.

Q: What about sales tax?
A: If you live in Texas, you will owe 8.25% in sales tax. We do not collect taxes on shipments outside of Texas.
